It looks like RFID is going to be a big thing especially with the new traceability legislation coming into force on January 01 2005:

Consultants are working hard to convince us that we will need to trace every single item :D

I know what you are saying Franco but I think RFID technology will be used extensively within the retail supply chain within 5 years and it will impact us all. Take up will be driven at the retailers pace as usual.

You better start thinking how you are going to insert an RFID chip into a cork. Now there's a challenge.
