New to the profession

Hi,

My name is Jeremy, and I am a food engineer. I recently started a job for a small spice and grain producer as a food safety and quality manager, in which I have only principles but no experience in. The company mixes bulk spices and grains before packaging them for retailers, so no cleaning or transformation line.

I am excited about this job because I find a certain beauty in making things run smoothly, and I have a lot of work to bring this company to SQF certification. I will certainly have many questions about the subtleties of food safety and quality.

I hope to interact with you all.

And Have a nice day :)

Well, welcome Jeremy!

Even though you are new to the profession you will feel a great combination of excitement and frustration reaching your SQF goal.  But once its there it will be awesome.

Hi Jeremy and welcome to the IFSQN.

It can be daunting finding your way with an implementation and often you may have a quick question or point of clarification.  We are here to support, so if you have questions just ask.

:welcome:

Regards,

Simon
