Is Roundup acceptable to use for exterior weed control?

is roundup acceptable for use in the exterior perimeter and premises for weed control?  we would also store this chemical on-site, but can also store in off-site farm storage.

In a few places we have done our own weed control, I do feel it best to store it off site and remind people to stay off the grass during treatment to avoid tracking it in the facility.  I would also keep an MSDS too.
