Root Cause - Required for Fabrication/Hygiene Audits?

Hi all, I hope everyone is well.

Simple question really - Do you carry out Root Cause Analysis for non-conformances raised during internal Hygiene and Fabrication audits?

If Yes - Why?

If No - Why Not?

We (obviously) have RCA in place for all non-conformances on site but those raised during hygiene and fabrication audits is a realy bugbear of mine.

Any help greatly appreciated. Have a fantastic evening all.

Regards,

SP

There is always a root cause, for hygiene issues the logical conclusion is "operator deviation" or something like that...the real root cause however is management failure.  Doesn't go down very well though.
