Clean room - no glass policy - glass windows

Hello,

 

I am hoping someone can help me in relation to clean room glass windows.  We manufacture plastic bags and want to supply into food sector so we are currently striving for HACCP accreditation.  We are converting our factory areas into clean rooms and learning as we go in relation to construction.  I wanted to find out about glass windows and coving.

 

We have a no glass policy but we want to put a door in and windows and keep an existing glass window  - can this be glass?  Or does it need to be another material?  Is there any ideas for maybe keeping our glass windows and putting something on the clean room side?

 

Also, in relation to coving how is it usually fixed - is it glue?  I am only about to look into coving suppliers so I don't know much about it - any information would be appreciated.

Why not keep the glass and put a plastic fully sealed panel on the inside?

Coving for floors?  Normally in food factories the C*#! or fillet is made on site using the flooring materials but this may be different for packaging.  One thing you don't want is something which is just stuck down that dirt could get underneath as it would defeat the object.
