Validation of In-House Micro Program

I am looking to see what the IFSQN community has to say about an in-house mirco program...

I currently use Hygiena testing for EB, Total & Salmonella.  The test methods (Salmonella) is certified by the AOAC and has documentation of a validation study but the other 2 do not.  Are there any suggestions for showing validation of my program to an auditor that does not require outside testing?

I have calibration records & 3rd party lab records that I used for a separate validation study but I am not confident that will be sufficient.  The rapid detection technology is just too new for some people to comprehend but it is so helpful and cost efficient.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you! :spoton:

Hi Elsa,

Sadly, IMEX auditors always like to see evidence of a deliberate Ring Test Procedure, even if only of minute size. It's probably mentioned  in ISO 17025 somewhere so they can't miss it.
