Change room procedures prior to entering clean room

Hello,

We are a plastic bag manufacture wanting to achieve HACCP certification.  We have been building a clean room environment for our production area.  We are now in the process of building a change room for machine operators to wash up, garb into necessary PPE (hair cap, beard snood, lab coat and clean room designated shoes).

Can anyone help me with the order of things or layout of the change room prior to entry into the clean area?

We are installing a basin and tap which will have all the hand washing and sanitation chemicals above.  We also planned to put in there an area for PPE, personal lockers for the staff, a bench seat for changing into shoes, and also for visitors to the room to put on shoe covers. 

Do we also need a mirror in there so they can check their hair caps etc?

My other concern is do they wash hands then garb up, or garb up then wash hands?  And when exiting what is the order and at what point should they de-garb?

I also want to ensure they do not walk back over an area they entered in their street shoes.

Is there a system or order or layout to consider before we buy all the required items and put them in?  Is a painted yellow line enough to indicate once crossed over in clean room shoes, they cannot come back?

Just to clarify - do you mean a "cleanroom" (eg = aseptic/ultra-clean) or simply a "clean room" ? Sounds like the latter.

I suspect terminologies vary with location.

To clarify my post -

i am unfamiliar with the range of environments for manufacturing food packaging.

But I do know that there are a variety of required environments for packaging food.

For the second application, the possible range  progresses from (a) a "simple"  "clean room"  through (b) an  "aseptically" "clean room" up to (c) a  "cleanroom"  "clean room".

Assuming that manufacturing Packaging has similar options (?), I was asking which Group you are in. Probably (a) ?
