EC 2016/60 Chlorpyrifos Regulations

Good Morning

I'm starting to get requests from customers asking for confirmation or otherwise, that the products we supply conform to the above regulation (kicks in 10/8/16).

Does this just relate to product supplied after this date or Is this going to be applied retrospectively?

Hi Figaro,

This regulation as you said has come in place as of 10th August 2016, and is stated as anything bought after this time will need to be below the limit, most companies including myself have spoken to the suppliers who are offering products to make sure company's 1: are aware of issue and working to levels 2: have tested/received results.

So I would say look at individual products look at who you are buying from, speak to suppliers and get there information.

Hope this helps.

Chris
