Hi to all,

I am Mohan from ugnda.

I have some doubts in alcoholic process the mainly i wanted to know.

1. Which tests should be done in the raw spirit.

2. In the raw spirit which most critical parameters we have to maintain very less and if it is more which type of problems we can face.

3. Our process is importing the raw spirit and belnding with the flavours and DM water then packing in various types like gin, vodka, rum. etc.

4. In this process which most critical points we need to monitor.

5. if  that parameters results is above with the standerd limits which type of problems we can face.

6. if it is there any guideline books for the alcoholic beverages please provide me the links. Haccp plans and any quality manuals.

Thank you to all.

Hi Mohan ,

1.I do not know what is the law  in India but in the EU, there is a Regulation ( 1576-1989) setting out the quality parameters  (see Annex I of  Regulation 1576 - 1989) on which must comply alcohol derived from agricultural sources to be used as raw material alcoholic drinks production

2. From what I know, I believe that the percentage of methyl alcohol must necessarily be over the maximum allowed limits because methanol can cause major damage human health

For other questions I did not answer because I know nothing about this kind of process.

You can fiind mentioned Regulation on:

http://eur-lex.europa.eu/

I hope this information help you.
