Can someone please assist. Is there any written legislation yet on the use of LPG forklifts in a food manufacturing plant and warehouse? or can the use of carbon emission testing be used to show that the levels are well below what is mandated by osha justify the use of the forklifts in food processing?

Bradley the only legislation that I know of on the use of LPG forklifts in a food manufacturing plant and warehouse is California EPA. We have carbon emission testing done yearly to show that the levels are below the California EPA levels. I hope this helps.

This is great we have been using the OSHA standards for our state but this is a lot more specific and will help out a lot. Do you mind posting the link for the levels for the California EPA.

Here is a link with the most recent information.

If the link does not work. It is Title 13 California Code of Regulations, Section 2433
