Hi alina,

I assume you meant the freezing step and not the storage.

it may depend where on Earth you are and what type of meat/seafood.

IMEX of  seafood never and never auditor queried. But i have seen other factories include it. Maybe their freezers were very, very, slooow !

If freezing time and temperature are important, then probably a CCP.

If exposure time and temperature are not correct, is it possible the product is not safe?

My freezing is NOT a CCP, however, the chilling process is.......this depends very much on where you are and what commodities specifically you are speaking of. We air chill, but cannot package when product is above 10 degrees Celsius, so that mark is my CCP. A little more information would be very helpful AAT.  Meat and seafood each have very specific requirements depending on the species
