hi :)

Is there concern to development of pathogens on packaged plastic products?

Suppose I buy razors
Does it reasonable that its plastic handle is infected with pathogens?

thanks :)

The answer depends on the process.

sorry.... it's the correct reply:

The process is simple injection

I ask if anything could be sufficient conditions for this.

Indeed, an employee can touch the product before packaging - as part of the process
But the product is packaged.

Hi benjamin,

I assume the "product" temperature achieves >> 100degC.

Indicates a sterile output.

Subsequently related to risk of contamination/survival/growth of a specific pathogen. Indicates value of aseptic environment.

another possibility perhaps -

Gamma rays are emitted from radioactive forms of the element cobalt (Cobalt 60) or of the element cesium (Cesium 137). Gamma radiation is used routinely to sterilize medical, dental, and household products

hi. thanks

food can be used as a platform for growing pathogens, there have all the conditions- its clear.

but its not clear if plastic product can be use too.

In addition it clear there is not risk before the melting.. cause the melting temperature kills them, but it not clear when it's a packed finished product.

Do you know any experience of consumer products company (care product, toys....) how they relate to biological risk?

thanks

Hi benjamin,
