Hi there,

Currently we are exporting our confectionery to US. Our customer in US has mentioned that FDA wants the food facility should be GFSI certified. Anyone has any idea regarding this matter?

Thank you.

FDA does not mandate any company to be GFSI certified. This is usually a customer requirement.

FDA mandates the foreign suppliers and many types of domestic facilities to meet FSMA. There are different due dates for compliance and you should read the info in the FDA website.
