Hi all,

I have a question regard additive declaration for EU. I saw the label of one ingredient is additive, the label of additive show " Preservative (202)"  My question is, does that label correct according to labeling regulation? because from my understanding additive have to show as "E202".

Thanks.

Dear Chatchanee,

That is right for the English text. You may also write the name of the additive instead of the E-number, like this : preservative (potassium sorbate).

Kind regards,

Hi Gerard,

Thanks for your clarifying but my more curious is if we want to show as number which one is correct or both? preservative (202) or preservative (E202)

Thanks!

Dear Chatchanee,

You will need to mention the E, so it will be:

preservative (E202)
