Section 2.1.3 - Will storing Dog Food affect our scope?

Hello everyone!

I have a question.   I work for a storage and distribution facility that has decided to go SQF.  I am in the early infancy stage of the process.    2.1.3 states I need to list the products in our facility under the scope.  Guess what we have.... Dog food!  Does this change my scope if it is not harmful to humans?  It's very little less than 10 pallets.

If this is strictly storage and distribution of sealed product your Food Sector Category is 26 and modules 2 & 12.

Just because you distribute dog food (regardless of the amount) does not call for category 32 for pet food.

Also, if you have too many products to list - just list by category or commodity, etc.
