I've taken a course before on learn2serve.com . It was easier than it was informative or seemingly geared toward someone who just wanted to get it done rather than learn something. Although my course was not for HACCP but I do know that it is offered.

Took an excellent on line course offered by AIB almost 2 years ago. It had the ability to be completed in segments. Content was very relevant.
NEHA HACCP Basics For Processors. US$295, I had our HACCP Team and QA Techs all take it. Meets US HACCP Alliance certification requirements, includes quiz at end of each module and once all quizzes are complete can print a HACCP certificate for the individual. Best I have found for on line training.
Online HACCP class through NC State. This is the cheapest class I have found, $150US.
The ideal choice, if existent, might be related to yr future objectives or even yr current occupation, eg Seafood Industry.Hi

Googling yr title reveals an enormity of options. Clearly business is booming. :smile:

Oh, I took the AIB HACCP Online course, too! I took it in the last year.
I really liked it because I was able to zoom through it at my own speed. They really break it down into stuff that's easy an simple to understand so that you can apply it to your own production facility.
I can't remember the cost, however.

Took that HACCP Course offered by NCSU.. it was great, easy to follow and detailed. Prof Clint was awesome..
Am I the only one who is yet to be convinced by online learning on something like HACCP or food safety? The thing is unless you have a real life person you can contact to ask questions and discuss around the topic, it's very one dimensional. A lot of the online learning things I've seen aren't a patch on a classroom.
Depends on what you want it for though, if it's just to tick the box, fine. If you really want someone to learn though, the process needs to be two way IMO.

Agreed, I've found those who want to learn and develop their food safety/HACCP knowledge ask to have classroom training while those who just want the certificate we set as a standard just want to do it online for speed. As someone who is only 23 and only been in the industry a few years I'm convinced I wouldn't have half the knowledge I have if I only did online training. All about cost and efficiency I guess............
