I only know UK courses but 6 months (if not working) is quite a long time.  In that time you'd be as well trained as most UK Technical Managers if you covered off the following (if you have no experience in the food industry you may need to do some lower qualifications first):

Level 4 food hygiene https://www.campdenb...food-safety-adv

Level 4 HACCP https://www.campdenb.../haccp-advanced

Legal labelling https://www.campdenb...drink-labelling

Intermediate TACCP https://www.campdenb...nt-intermediate

Weights and measures https://www.campdenb...eights-measures

Understanding microbiology https://www.campdenb...iology-training

If you are working, I'd focus on getting Level 4 / advanced food hygiene or something similar and do the others later.  I'm not sure if there are equivalent courses in India?
