Internal auditor training

Hi

Ive been in QA a long time and have been looking into taking an auditing course so that I may be able to do 2nd party audits at some point - anyone have any suggestions for good ones? We are currently FSSC 22000 certified, but it doesnt have to be for that standard. I was thinking maybe a more general regulatory one may be a good start. Online would be ideal, but I would not rule out an in class training.

Look into DNV-GL

SAI Global offers online internal auditor training for food safety management systems. It's expensive but very thorough and you can do it at your own pace.  From memory you have months (if not years!) to complete the course.
