Can any one please share an internal audit check list for the BRC 7 in a questions form and what to look for each cluse requirment

Hi Ahmed,

We actually use the standard itself as our internal audit checklist. We take each clause and breakdown the subclauses to form our audits. In the end, I believe we have 38-40 different internal audits. We choose 3-4 each month to have someone audit, which then covers the entire standard plus some. Over the years, we have added additional questions to our checklist to go further in depth, and to force internal auditors to ask and answer questions that aren't just "yes" or "no". 

At some point you will have covered all the documentation parts of BRC, and will need to make sure that these documents are actually implemented and being followed. Since we're now at that point, some of our questions are geared towards "how" we are ensuring the clause is covered, and watching people in the plant perform certain procedures related to different clauses. Our auditors are pleased with our internal audits, since we're basically doing a gap assessment every year.

Hi,

Does anyone perhaps have a BRC Food Safety Issue 7 checklist IN QUESTION FORMAT which they would like to share on the forum?  To be used for gap-assessments and pre-certification auditing.   I am aware of the BRC Self-assessment tool, but the requirements are in statement format.
