Bucket Stands / Floor Plates

Does anyone know where i can get hold of floor plates that raise buckets for example off the floor so they are not directly sitting on it? They are normally 300mm-400mmsq'd and 40-60mm high. Weigh rooms use them to keep buckets on that weighed ingredients go in or that hygiene buckets stand on next to a line ready for use when cleaning. Alternatively a suggestion for something that could be used for these purposes. For example a small plastic pallet is good to keep 25kg flavours on which also raises them off the floor and can be easily cleaned.

Milk crates are a great source of tiny stands that are strong, slip resistant, easy to clean, and well off the floor. I use them to keep materials (both corrugate and buckets) off the floor in temporary spaces all over the place.

Thanks FurFarmandFork, do you have BRC or equivilent? We had a similar item and interpreted it as being unsuitable. Would be good to know if is frowned upon by an external auditor

SQF level 3 facility, though we have no high risk products. Never had an issue but you could always write a risk assessment to demonstrate that there's no increased risk compared to plastic pallets. I'd fight any auditor that wanted to say otherwise provided you do actually clean them at some interval and store them properly.
I would not recommend milk crates. I come from the dairy industry and most dairies try to get milk crates out of their facilities for good reason. They are actually quite difficult to clean effectively with all the niches.
Obviously, they are great utilitarian devices for a variety of applications, but they absolutely suck in terms of sanitary design and cleanliness. Most auditors would not like to see these being used except for their explicit purpose of temporary milk storage.
Plastic pallets would be the better alternative as you can get designs that are easy to clean. Additionally, you can get them in a variety of sizes. If this doesn't work, depending on your budget, you can get stands made/fabricated out of stainless bar. It would basically be a small square with legs.
Thinking outside the box...if you want a cheaper alternative you can simply get designated colored buckets that you can invert for the sole purpose of keeping your weighing buckets off the ground. Of course, these will need to be a cleaning program and require handling protocol. A very cheap option...then again, it is a cheap option which the buckets likely won't last that long.

Thanks Ryan - Plastic pallet looks like the way forward in most areas but may need to get a few made out of stainless steel. Was hoping to get the SS ones off the shelf but no luck so far
