Best Food Safety Management System in Retail-Supermarkets
Hi all
I am working in in retail field (supermarkets) the company is operating close to 400 hypermarket, supermarket and convenient stores.
we were under AIB certification process but it doesn't work with us so we are looking for new certification scheme
I hear that BRC standards are the best for retailers (supermarkets or grocery stores) but i would really appreciate if you can help me by your expertise what the best would work for us and if any one here works in TESCO, Walmart and those famous retailers might share what standard they are implementing
I don't see ISO 22000 fit for retail its more toward production business so what you all recommend or see as best (BRC, IFS, SQF, ...) ?
Thanks and Regards
If you are going this route to automate your Food Safety and Management system, its best either to go your own route on creating a custom software that amount of store fronts.
Or you may consult with SafeFood 360, they may offer a solution for your store front.
If you are choosing between the different types of audits, I recommend either BRC or SQF, however you have to understand that whatever you choose to put in writing will have to be reflected in reality.
Hi Belmont
Thanks for your reply and def i agree with you that what ever we implement it should be reflected in reality.
