I would also appreciate some samples. I am not sure what Balong's goal is, but I need to write a lot of procedures to achieve AIB certification for a food contact manufacturing facility. Does anyone have a Vendor checklist they can share? How about a vulnerabilty assessment plan? I would very much appreciate any assistance with section 5 of the AIB's Consolidated standards for inspection.

Can you inform which clauses of AIB standard you are referring to ?
(a) I deduce VA = 5.15.1.1.
I note that for AIB, VA = Food Defence.
Suggest to search for "Food Defence," there are dozens of (repetitive) linked examples on this forum, many ex USFDA (a detailed fill-in yourself "builder" app) and USDA (a more compact checklist presentation)
(b) Where is the AIB requirement for a "Vendor checklist" ? = "Supplier Inspection" in 15.19.2.1 ?
Thanks, Charles. Actually, as I did more research, I think I understand what is needed by the vulnerability assessment now and need to work on creating a rating chart for them. One axis will be how likely a problem is to occur with a particular vendor and the other axis is how catastrophic a problem with that vendor would be to the company, right?
The other issue, which I incorrectly called Vendor checklist, should be "Approved Supplier" program which is in section 5.19. The first question really applies to 5.19 as well.
You are correct that 5.15 is the Food Defense program, and I need to come up with a VA form as well. I found a nice document for FCIS compliance (not AIB) and it has precautionary measures but no vulnerability assessment. If you have anything that would address that requirement, I would very much appreciate it!

Re-vulnerability assessment, here is the AIB requirement afaik -
5.15 Food Defense Program
The Food Defense Plan identifies and reduces the risk of intentional harm to food products.
Critical Requirements
5.15.1.1 The facility has a written Vulnerability Assessment, which is performed by person(s) trained in Food Defense. Vulnerability assessment is reviewed on a frequency based on regulation or at least annually.
5.15.1.2 The Food Defense Plan includes mitigation measures based on the Vulnerability Assessment.
IMO the AIB use of VA terminology is totally different to that of GFSI so you need to be careful as to yr response.
As per Post 2 i suggest you search Food Defense (or Defence) which offer templates.
