SQF 2.4.3 Food Safety Plan

I have an overview in our HACCP Plan already about how our HACCP Plan works and it being based on Codex (see attachment).

How does SQF 2.4.3 differ from this? I also already have SQF 2.1.3 with some of the same idea.

You did not specify which SQF version you are referring to as 7.2 is valid until January but 8 is out and many us have already starting on the changes.   Your question is also a bit confusing as to what you are asking.

2.4.3 in both versions is your safety plan aka HACCP plan and what it  should cover.  If you have followed the codex your good.

2.1.3 in 7.2 is discussing that you need to have your manuals documented and how they should be documented and some of what needs to be in them.

2.1.3 in 8.0 is management review and what the responsibilities are.

I am working on 7.2 as this is our first audit this year and will update to edition 8 next year.

I have an overview document that talks about our HACCP Plan being Codex and all that is required in the Plan. Does that meet 2.4.3? See the attachment "HACCP Overview".

For 2.1.3 then do I just reference 2.4.3 for HACCP and then talk about the requirements for our Quality Manual? I have the QM-106 so far. Does that work?

It seems that mentioning the details of the HACCP Manual again here would be redundant

Sorry I have been in training and not had a chance to review your documents.  A shoot from the hip answer would be that if your HACCP follows Codex, your good, but will look at your attachments and then can probably better answer your questions.
