Dear Charles C.:

I think it is to sanitize the 'sampling tools' during sampling process (for subsequent microbiological testing?).

Thank you Charles. We are a distribution company. We sample our frozen meat products for microbiology testing. The alcohol will be used for our sampling tools.

I'd suggest a product like Alpet D2. It is alcohol and a 200ppm quat that is great as a sanitizer.

Hi rosanna,

Sorry i missed yr reply.

I think it may depend on what is meant by sampling tools ?. For example my own experience is that forceps are pre-sterilised in hot air ovens.
