Do Sub Contractors fall under BRC Standards?

I have a question on sub contractors . Our company has a plant that process crab meat and seals the meat in our company logo.  We don't use the meat in production at our plant but we stored the meat here and shipped it out from our plant.  My question is does the crab meat fall under BRC Standards?

Yes and/or No.

According BRC, subcontracted products should come back to your company, which is the case.

Do you supply the subcontractor with raw materials? in other words is the subcontractor processing your stuff?

Or is the subcontractor processing his own product (raw materials, ingredients, etc and putting your brand on it)?

In the second case it is traded good and is not in the scope of BRC Food certificate. It can be for BRC S&D.

In the first case it is subcontracted processed and it can be in the scope of BRC. (requirement 3.5.4)
