Internal audit checklist for Non GMO compliance

Can anyone help me with the internal audit checklist for Non GMO compliance for the process?

If your in the US it should be very simple. Only 8 crops grown from GM seed are available in the US. They are as follows; corn (field and sweet), soybeans, cotton, canola, alfalfa, sugar beets, papaya and squash . GM Salmon is now available in some Canadian markets as well. In some parts of the world GM Golden Rice  is also available.. 

 If you are not using any of these ingredients you are already producing a non GMO product. If you are using these ingredients you will need to utilize molecular genetic techniques to identify if your ingredients are derived from GM seed. 

On the other hand i would also urge your company to not support the shady "non-GMO certified" practices that are appearing in the industry. Foundations such as the Non-GMO project are making a killing labeling everything "non-GMO" when GMO versions of that crop/product do not even exist. It is a marketing scam at best despite their assertions of wanting to inform customers. When bottled water, and table salt are now entering commerce with "non-GMO" labels it should be an indication that these certifications are un-scientific and less than legitimate.
