HELLO ALL,

I know I hardly log in to the forum and I should more often because a lot of you have very god advise and pointers.

anyhow I need examples on how I can document or perform a business continuity test. I was under the impression that a fire drill is enough which I did perform but I did not understand what the next step  was. the auditor told me that I basically have to imagine a catastrophe like a major earthquake and in a case of this event what will happen to the product that is left on the processing line, how will I verify that the product is still good or I need to dispose.

how should I approach this?

thanks in advance :-)

Hi b.juarez,

FS standard is unknown. Below is oriented mainly to SQF.

There are many threads here on this "topic", a few are below -

Based on our Vulnerability Assessment (within the Business Continuity Plan), we selected 6 events most likely to occur. Then we have a mock crisis audit where an event is sent to management to respond individually. TheMock Crisis Audit.xlsx   29.96KB   200 downloadsgroup gets together to discuss lessons learned (i.e. needed resources, etc.). I have attached our template. Hope it helps.
