Dry beans inspection devices

Hi dears,

 

Anybody here from the canned beans industry. can you please suggest any lab device to inspect raw material beans. Parameters we are looking the below.

 

1) Moisture

2) count

3) Size of beans

4) Dicoloured

5) contrasting beans

6 Foregin objects

7 Split /cracked beans

8) mouldy or fungal infected.

Try this guidance document for sampling protocol and design your own system.  It may take some time but most of your criteria are not terribly difficult to evaluate visually:

I don't test for moisture but perhaps somebody can speak to the concept of drying the beans completely in a low temp oven (200 deg. F) and weigh the difference to determine the moisture that was left when you began.
