FSVP plan example

Hi all, Lighthouse Trade, Inc. is a cheese, seafood and meat/cured meats import company. Very interesting topics and posts here, useful too.

We are dealing with FSVP, and we would really appreciate any kind of example for an FSVP plan for cheese importation.

FSVP is a topic with several threads here. I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "FSVP Plan", = HACCP Plan ?

 

Off-hand i don't recall cheese coming up previously but i suggest you do a browse through the sub-forum titles or quick search for "FSVP", eg -

I have not seen any examples. The big piece of the FSVP requirement is verifying the food safety programs of your foreign supplier. These can include; HACCP plans, 3rd party audit reports, COAs, and other internal processes and programs that demonstrates any controls that were identified in the supplier's hazard analysis.
