Where to include Allergens in HACCP Plan risk analysis?
apart from physical ,biological & Microbial hazard. can we incorporate Allergen hazard in haccp plan separately.
or can it be clubbed along with chemical hazard
Apart from biological, physical, chemicals and allergens, we have "uprightness" (correct label information) and sabotage in our HACCP plan.
Saves us from having several different risk analysis. We haven't recieved any remarks from our auditors (internal or BRC).
Either way works, you can break them out separately or include them in your "chemical hazards". As long as allergens are included in your hazard analysis there shouldn't be a problem with a competent auditor.
That's not to say you won't get an auditor that audits their preferences rather than the standard. But that happens and you deal with it when it does.
Allergens should be included within chemical hazards.

The typical horizontal row in the hazard analysis table used to be split BCP
Now I suspect it's more commonly a mixture of BCP or BCPA
And maybe soon also BCPAR.
However i daresay some Countries may Regulate to their own choice.
