Dear  All members

My name is Mai, I'm RD technical from Thailand

I would like some help from you guys,

I would like to know exactly about one of food additive permission in EC.1129/2011

Yes, I mention to the "Sulphur dioxide"

I would like to exactly clear about the foot note no.(3)

example : at.04.2.2  The limit of use E220-228 is 100 mg/kg, but, the foot note (3) make me confuse.

  (Refer to attach picture)

In my understanding... it's mean, we need to calculate E220-228 as Sulphur dioxide,

the maximum level of use E220-228 in Cat.04.2.2 is 100 mg/kg

But, if we use < 10 mg/kg. It's mean as "No sulphur dioxide".

( = Can use, and no need to declare on label as allergen),

                                        Is this correct???

Foot Note (3)

(3): Maximum levels are expressed as SO2 relate to the total quantity, available from all sources, an SO2

content of not more than 10 mg/kg or 10 mg/l is not considered to be present

Could you please answer me

Thank you for your kind support.

Best regards

Mai
