Hello everyone!
Brand new and would love to get some guidance on some of the different templates that you have found helpful to starting a food safety program.

The FDA has a food safety plan builder on its website. It's not bad though it takes time to navigate. One issue with the FDA template that I've found - under the process preventative control tab, it doesn't ask who is responsible for the control of you CCP. I had to add it to one of the steps.
If you went to a PCQI training, you should have received examples of a template as well. A long few days, but very much recommended if you're new to the industry. I'm new and found it very helpful.
Welcome GPG, i hope you enjoy the forum as much as the rest of us. Dependent on which legislatorial body you are planning on going with, they should have their own specific guide although they all cover key food safety elements. As said above and being in the USA, the FDA have some great templates although personally i would see what experience you have on site and if necessary get as experienced technical interim into help and find a good course to go on. Im sure there are some previous posts with some information on books you can get to help too. - Jimmy
