Hi Everyone,

I am having difficulty of finding the rounding rules of Calcium and Iron under the new CFIA labelling requirement.

The new CFIA labeling requires the label contains and weight and DV of Calcium and Iron, however on their website only the DV rounding rules could be found.

It is strange that there is no indication of the rounding rules on the weight of Calcium and Iron...

Have you looked here?

CFIA is notorious for not putting all the information in one logical place

It does appear that table 2 does show the rounding (sort of) for minerals and vitamins that already have an established limit/threshold. It is difficult to figure out exactly what they are requiring however.
