Internal Audit Result Scoring

Hi everyone!

I'm just confused if it is necessary to put percentage rating in Internal Audit like you compute % compliance with each audit requirement over the total number of requirements?

My current practice is that I make final report which contains plant information, audit criteria, scope, findings (C, NC, OFI) and judgement & recommendation.

We're looking forward for ISO 9001:2015 certification.

Does anyone of you can advise me or do you have any references?

Thanks in advance.

IMO, we never know exactly. For each requirement, we find evidences to prove the compliance with it by audit sampling. Since we don't make sampling everything our company do, the internal audit can only conclude that there are no non-conformities (NCs rectified with CAs count as conformities) with all requirements during the audit campaign and the whole Standard is complied. Simply so.
