PCQI Signoff

Hi All,

The PCQI signoff rule, "The review of records on monitoring and corrective actions should be carried out within 7 working days", what type of monitoring records need to be signed off within 7 working days? Would this just be CCP monitoring records?

That pertains to ALL monitoring records....and I would suggest CCP records should be reviewed asap post production (in case of an issue so you can but a run on hold if need be)

"The review of records on monitoring and corrective actions should be carried out within 7 working days",

Monitoring and corrective actions. Those items which you have indicated in your food safety plan (preventive controls) which includes specifications for monitoring and corrective actions.

Note that for FDA this would include sanitation preventive controls, not just traditional CCP's.
