In the food branch it's usual to work with electrical forklifts, avoiding exhaust gases and black dust in your production and storage areas.
Furthermore it's important to check whether these forklift don't bring foreign bodies into your areas.
Beside the food safety topics, it's also important to study the human safety aspects when using such internal transportation vehicles:
- Security belts
- Battery charging area (ATEX zone)
- Dedicated lanes
- Maximum speed
- Truck driver license
