Hi,

What can i test for in a product that has come into contact with some amount of food grade lubricant; more than 10ppm?

The lubricant is registered by NSF Class H1.

Thanks

I guess it depends what kind of testing equipment you have. Do you have an HPLC?

I would employ an HPLC or GC method looking at these three possible analytes: stearamide, oleamide and erucamide

I intend to send the samples out to an accredited laboratory for analysis.

GC if the material is volatile.  We often heat the sample in a closed container to facilitate the volatilization.

HPLC is used for materials that are not volatile.  This may be more appropriate since I assume the oil is not easily volatilized.
