Food Defense Training
What is the best Food Defense 3rd Party Training and why?
Loaded question. I have done the AIB course and the follow on Level 2 course. I have also done the online course provided by FDA.
Problem is, with the upcoming revamp to Food Defense for FSMA, even the FDA has pulled their Food Defense Plan Builder from download because it does not meet the requirements of FSMA.
If you are not familiar at all with Food Defense, I'd recommend the course offered by AIB. It's comprehensive, but when it gets into how to build a Food Defense Plan, it will not meet the requirements of FSMA. Con: costs money.
If you are not at all familiar with Food Defense, check out the online course from FDA. Not nearly as comprehensive, but it teaches the general points.

Hi umthorn,
So are you "doing" it for anybody in particular ?
eg FSMA, USDA ......... ?
It really depends on the requirement that you are trying to satisfy
I think the FSPCA provides the basic training and it's free. Here is the link:
Hello,
I underwent training of Food Defense at SGS-Phils, they are well-known for their expertise. Topic: PAS-96.
