Could you please anybody help to provide the procedure of calibration for double head metal detection.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Emran,

by "calibration" do you mean "sensitivity" ?

Hi Emran,

Yes, calibration. Actually, for the double head i don't how can i calibrate this machine both head separately.

I mean here only daily calibration system both head separately.

Hi Emran,

Typically "calibration" means requesting an engineer to come and check if the unit is performing as per spec, for example with respect to magnitude of response to a test piece, magnetic field strength OK or not, etc

"sensitivity" means testing whether the MD correctly rejects a standard test piece when passed through which relates to the MD's operation during manufacturing.

So which is it ? (afaik the only procedures on this forum are for "sensitivity")

Here i'm asking for the internal MD calibration which doing factory thrice in a day 9 point.

Hi Emran,

please clarify "9 point"

"sensitivity" usually means a procedure involving use of ferrous, non-ferrous, stainless steel test samples. Is that what you mean ?
