Is pea considered an allergen in EU and US?

Hi,

 

We are using pea powder as an ingredient. Is pea considered allergen by EU and US? If yes, please share copy of regulations.

Hi Mandark,
It's not an allergen for EU labelling purposes. The relevant regulation is 1169/2011 - see Annex II for declarable allergens. Available in multiple languages here: https://eur-lex.euro...ELEX:32011R1169

No, Pea is not recognized as Allergen as per Current EU list of Allergen.
