Anyone heard about the "Protect Our Product" Programme?

Earlier I heard about protect our product programme. The organization like Nestle, Abbott, mondelez are suggesting their supplier. if anyone knows details of this program please elaborate.

Parmeshwar - from what I have seen there are different interpretations of this.

 

Would it be possible to request the standard from the relevant customer/customers so that there is no doubt exactly what they expect?... my experience of Nestle & Mondelez is that they are very helpful as they want their suppliers to comply.

It is somehow the same as your "strength is as only as strong as the weakest link.." .The manufacturers, in order to provide the quality of their product, must help these suppliers to be able to deliver the rm/pm in righy quality consistently. Not only treating them as suppliers but business partners as they believe they will improve when one their value stream improve as well.
