Introduction

Hi, I am Melissa.  I am a Food Safety Program Manager for a large food distribution company.  We have been BRC certificated in Distribution for 3 years.  I was previously a Food Safety and HACCP Manager at food manufacturing facility that produced RTE and raw meat products, bakery products, sauces and ready meals.  I worked there for 9.5 years.  We were BRC certificated in food for the last 4 years I was there.

I have a desire to learn as much about food safety across different aspects of the food industry and believe in the importance of developing and maintaining a food safety culture.

Welcome, Melissa! My name is Trevor Morones, and I lead a team for Control Point, a Las Vegas-based food safety firm. We are active in food service, hospitality, retail, food manufacturing, and GFSI schemes. We have followed many of the IFSQN forums for multiple years but have not been active in them.
