Conditional acceptance of product with deviation

Hi All,

Appreciate if anyone will be able to share procedure or guideline on conditional acceptance of food product upon receiving.

Example if there is a supplier which supplies frozen food product that is not achieving required temperature at -18C, a conditional acceptance is issued for the product (due to low product stock level and it is the only supplier available).

Based on what criteria or risk assessment matrix (from food safety and quality perspective) for me to communicate to supplier that long term solution is required and impact it has if not addressed appropriately.

Thank you.

Might relate to the specific product/process/reception arrangement.

IMEX it is more usual to implement  Accept/Reject Rules which considerably simplify the situation.
