Looking for some insight from others that may have used eHACCP.org for HACCP training

Hi Everyone,

I have been looking into online HACCP training for a couple members of our HACCP team.

eHACCP.org has come up and the website states;

"Cost effective and recognized by the FDA, USDA, CFIA and GFSI auditors. Register today, complete the course and get your HACCP certification. "

Looking for some insight from others that may have used this site for HACCP training.

Is it accepted by CFIA, BRC, ect.?

Is the content effective?

Thank you all for your input.

Looks really suspect to me..................and hawksbury is listed as their location seems weird if they were offering training and were reputable they'd have an ottawa address, not something 2 hours away

It really reads like they've just taken OMAFRA's course and copied it...............BTW OMAFRA has all sorts of training material for FREE!!!!!  If i were you that's the route I'd take

Did you check with the IHA to make sure their accreditation is (still) valid? If so, you shouldn't run into any issues.

They offer a free SOP course that may be worth checking out. You'll get a good feel for their delivery, content, etc.

Hi,

This is Stephen Sockett. I own and operate eHACCP.org.

I just found this post and needed to respond. eHACCP.org's content is accredited by the International HACCP Alliance. I'm a Lead HACCP instructor accredited by the IHA. My content has been vetted and I can assure you has not been "copied" from anyone. In fact I work hard to keep everything updated and contemporary, from the content to technology. Each course took years of hard work to develop, digitize and put on a reliable yet user friendly LMS. I partnered with SGS subject matter experts when I first began this about 11 years ago and the courses have been meticulously audited.

If anyone is in question of my company's reputation please feel free to call me and I'll be happy to allow you to validate the content. If you wish, I'll provide you with a list of companies, with verifiable contact information of the directors/lead training persons, that have used my site to train and certify their people. I've been fortunate enough to provide my courses to some of the biggest food manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, producers and other supporting industries like chemical, packaging and machine manufacturing.

On a side note, I know many well respected and sought after subject matter experts that make their home away from big cities. As a matter of fact, the area that I am located in has an abundance of agricultural zones and food processing facilities that I have used in making these courses.

I thank you for allowing me to respond and again I am always available by email or by phone.

I've also attached my IHA approval letter.

My best regards
~Stephen
