Supplier's Performance Evaluation

Hi,

 

I'm looking for a good and simple template to use for my Supplier's performance evaluation.

Could anyone share please?

 

How often Supplier's appraisal should be carried out? Is it depends on their Risk Grade (L,M, H)?

 

PS.: We only maintain SALSA accreditation but working towards BRC issue 8.

Industry: Dairy

You will have to determine based on your system how often you should evaluate suppliers.

BRC is fairly specific on "evaluation of suppliers".
Get the Standard and get ahead of the game.

IMO the document contains some useful content but the Procedure's Decision criteria  as stated seem unacceptable to me..

 

I assume the OP refers to BRC8 -
 

 

3.5.1.3 There shall be a documented process for ongoing supplier performance review, based on risk and defined performance criteria. The process shall be fully implemented.

 

 

Seems that, just to make life even more (risk)difficult, "monitoring" in BRC7 has now been replaced by above.

 

May I ask if this document has been found acceptable within a BRC audit ?
