Water potability criteria for physical parameters?

We are on city water supply.  We are preparing for an RBI (distributor) audit.

The audit requirement states that:  "Potability criteria for microbiological, chemical and physical parameters shall be used."

We already perform micro and chemical testing annually and obtain the city's test results but we don't have anything for physical parameters.

How should we address this?

Thank you!

I'm thinking a basic turbidity test should do the trick

Check you Annual water report from the city. Results of the contaminants, mentioned in the above posts, should be reported on the city annual report.

IMO: this should be sufficient for your auditor.

Here is the link from EPA on contaminants in Water under the safe drinking water act:

TJW,

Once I was faced with this and  was able to defend my self with a clause in our own bureau of standards(regulatory body)

It has a provision for parameters minimum monitoring for water potability. Some of those Physical tests can be expensive and Punitive,

An Option you should consider is getting a copy of analyzed water from the Municipal Council.s
