BRC Food-Issue 8, Clause 1.1.2: Food Safety Culture

Good day all,

I am looking for a detailed explanation and probably a sample document/plan for food safety culture as per the BRC Issue 8 clause 1.1.2,

I'd also suggest reading the interpretation guide for Issue 8 if you haven't yet done so, as there is quite a lot of explanatory detail under 1.1.2 (as compared to most clauses).

:helpplease: I would also like to have a sample 'Food safety culture plan' or  possibly an explanation for that as to what BRC is looking for as it is the requirement of that particular clause,

We just had our BRC audit against issue 8 last week.  We talked about our training efforts and our food safety commitment policy.  The auditor indicated that he would not be assessing the food safety culture itself this year, as this is a new clause and will take some time to fully implement; however, he would expect the program to be in place and auditable by next year.
