Labels - Ingredients list (French / English)
Good morning !
I am updating our labels for the new requirements from Health Canada and in tandem with SFCR. I tried asking my Inspector-on-site, but I haven't been able to get an answer yet. I can't find the information anywhere.
We're based in Quebec and we have a bilingual label. I'm trying to figure out if in the ingredient list, it has to be written one way or the other :
Ingrédients : ....
Ingredients : ...
Or it can be :
Ingrédients : ..... / Ingredients : ....
Basically if they both have to start on a separate line or if they one can start at the end of the other. There isn't great examples on the CFIA website...
Thanks in advance :)

In case you've not seen this, it should be of help.............basically you can do 1 than the other OR you can do what you've suggested of eng/french or french/eng then listing the ingredients in the corresponding language
Thanks Scampi !
I did see it, but I felt it wasn't super clear in that area. If I read it correctly, I can just put them back to back the way I had them in the second example. I'll go with that I think :)
Thank you !
That's also what I'm used to seeing on packaging most often...................just ensure you've covered off any Quebec only requirements for product sold within the province....there may be something additional needed
