Zoning traffic flows

Hi All,

Can someone advise on this:

We are doing in-house testing for TPC & Coliform Count which we conduct in the bio safety cabinet, and the micro lab is located in between production line & R&D room. There is human traffic at the lab because the production sample is then passed to the R&D room for checking and sensory evaluation.  Does this traffic flow violates any food safety concerns?  What if we change the checking of production sample in the micro lab, would there be any problem?  Hoping for your opinions and comments.  Thank you in advance.

Hi,

As per food safety, micro lab should be away from the production areas, the personal working in the lab, lab accessories and product should not go to production areas. collect separate samples for sensory evaluation that only come to R&D lab.
