Risk analysis for hair and clothing policy

I just came into my roll as a QA Manager. I was the QC supervisor for 6 years. I am learning and taking test that I need to better myself.I just had my first SQF audit and it was unannounced. I go a minor for risk analysis for hair and clothing policy.  Help , not sure where to start of has anyone else got a minor for this?

Hey partner,

 

They want some type of statement in your overall "GMP POLICY" that says there is a control on hair and personal clothing as those employees participate in production to avoid potential cross-contamination.

 

What are the current goals of these items in your facility?

Hi A,

Create a list or map or all areas and determine the level of risk. Next to each area write the GMPs/PPE enforced and why it’s appropriate for the risk.

For example, a production employee would follow tighter guidelines than someone in warehouse because of the proximity to exposed product.

“11.3.3.1 The site shall undertake a risk analysis to ensure that the clothing and hair policy protects materials, food and food contact surfaces from unintentional microbiological or physical contamination.“
